Harvest Happy: Pumpkins Part I

Happy Halloween!!!

We're going a little off schedule this week - no zoomin' bloomin' and a few harvest happy's.

Here are some pumpkin-jack-o-lantern photos!  Isaac chose the cat theme.  Check back on Wednesday to see how we cook them up after they serve their Halloweenie purpose.

Last year Ben and I were in the midst of basement renos so we didn't go in search of a pumpkin until Halloween afternoon.  Of course, they were all out, everywhere.  Instead, we bought a giant Mother Hubbard squash and carved it up.  This little guy is to commemorate where we were at last year and how far we've come.  He has a scar.

This is one of two jack o lanterns we carved here at Miss Greenish Thumb's place. But the other one got entered in a pumpkin carving contest and was left at the school by accident.
