Museum of Agriculture at the Experimental Farm

The farm quest continues...
The Isaac lad and I headed over to the Canada Agriculture Museum on Friday.

We had a super time!

Isaac liked the goats best this time around.  He stood here for a very long time.

My favourite is the Eco Park
... as well as the Canadian Organic Growers Demonstration Garden

Here's my rating (without an actual number rating... more like comments):
  • Location: The Experimental Farm is right smack dab in the middle of Ottawa!
  • Affordability: For our anniversary last year, I bought us a family museum membership (how romantic, eh).  It's $90 for a year to the Agriculture Museum, Science and Tech Museum, and Space Museum.  Plus you get bonuses like free admission to other museums in other cities.  Ben takes Isaac to the Science and Tech Museum every other Friday so we get our money's worth.  Otherwise, general admission is $7 per adult.  Children under 3 are free.
  • Kid-friendly-ness: This museum is made for kidlets and it entertains for hours on end.  All the buildings are close together, kids can touch the animals, there are lots of play spaces, tractor rides, hay rides, you name it, they've thought of it.
