Zoomin' Bloomin' Purple Sandcherry

I was puttering around in the yard, digging around in the dirt, pulling up weeds, raking up twigs, when I passed my big purple sandcherry bush.  And I noticed the teensy pink flowers were beginning to bloom.  I couldn't help it. I leaned in for a whiff. You see, purple sandcherry bushes are irresisitible.  They smell like roses and strawberries and cotton candy.  They smell like a gentler, sweeter lilac. They are wonderful!  And they're blooming now!

As Mary Mary wrote about her mushroom compost experience (although for a whole other reason), I wish this post was scratch'n'sniff.
