Jumpin' In!

I'm going to do it!
I'm going to take the leap tomorrow (May 6, 2012).

I brought my tomato seedlings and leek seedlings home from the sunny window ledge at school and I checked the long range forecast and the nights aren't forecasted to drop down to zero in the next fourteen days ...

...and I KNOW it's a risk, but it's a risk I'm willing to take if the benefit is an extra two weeks of growing season.

The No Guff website said that the average frost-free date in Burlington, Ontario is May 5.  And some other vegetable planner website said that the average frost-free date for my postal code was April 21st!  So I decided...I'm in!

But I will not be held liable for the risks to your own gardening success should you decide to follow my lead and plant your delicate babies before the revered Victoria Day weekend hurdle.
I will not lose sleep at night over anyone's tomatoes but my own.
